About Us
More than just flying
We are a small but active squadron serving the local area. We can regularly be spotted leading parades in town with our Marching Band.

Qualifications

Our instructors are qualified to teach Aerospace, Leadership, First Aid, and Drone flying. We also lead external qualifications like the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Achievements

We push towards Wing, Region, and National awards. Recently, our own Cadet Warrant Officer received the Dacre Sword, presented annually to the top All-round Cadet in the UK.

Future Careers

Great for those interested in the Armed Forces, but also builds skills for all careers. Former cadets have moved into Engineering, Finance, Medicine, and Broadcasting.

Join as Adult Staff
Adult Volunteers are our lifeblood. Join as a Civilian Instructor, or in a uniformed role as an SNCO or Officer.

- Aged 20+
- DBS Check Required
Civilian Committee
Support us behind the scenes. This role involves monthly meetings and helping at events throughout the year.
